141 Troubleshooting Guide DVD operating problems-Windows 95/Windows 98 The DVD Transform Filter Properties dialog box 3 Click DVD Direct under TV Output to view your DVD video through an S-video or composite video device. 4 Click OK to apply your settings. DVD-ROM error messages If there is a problem with your DVD-ROM Player, you may receive an error message. This section describes the error messages you may encounter and provides some possible solutions. "Program Error" or "VPM" error messages The display drivers for your Tecra 8000 Series DVD-ROM may be installed incorrectly. To install the display drivers, use the Configuration Builder CD that shipped with your computer. Follow the on-screen instructions. Refer to the Toshiba Configuration Builder CD Instructions for complete details. "Error Render File" error message The driver support layer for the DVD-ROM Player may not be installed. To install the driver support layer, run the DVD Driver Disk Setup program from the Configuration Builder CD that was shipped with your computer. Follow the on-screen instructions.
