Table 47 RFC 1483 Routed/MER: Edit ATM Channel LABEL DESCRIPTION TX Vci Enter the VCI setting of the connection for use with a TX based network. TX Vpi Enter the VPI setting of the connection for use with a TX based network. RX Vci Enter the VCI setting for the connection for use with a Rx based network. RX Vpi Enter the VPI setting for the connection for use with a Rx based network. Peak Cell Rate The Peak Cell Rate is the maximum rate at which the sender can send cells. Peak Cell Rate applies with all of the ATM traffic classes. You can type a number of (ATM) cells per second in the first field or type a number of kilobytes per second in the second field to have the system automatically compute the number of ATM cells per second. Burst Tolerance Burst Tolerance sets a maximum number of cells that the port is guaranteed to handle without any discards. Type the Burst Tolerance here. Burst Tolerance applies with the variable bit rate traffic classes. Max Cell Rate Type the Maximum Cell Rate in this field. Max Burst Size Maximum Burst Size (MBS) refers to the maximum number of cells that can be sent at the peak rate. Type the MBS in this field. P-794H User's Guide 103
