Chapter 12 SNTP Client The following table describes the fields in this screen. Table 71 Configuration > SNTP Client LABEL DESCRIPTION Current System Time This field displays the current time of the P-794H. Current Time Zone This field displays the current time zone of the P-794H. Current Synchronized This field displays the IP address of the NTP server that the P- NTP Server 794H uses to synchronize. Synchronize Client Click the Synchronize button to synchronize the date and time with NTP Server now! settings from the NTP server. SNTP - NTP Server Configuration Parameters Add NTP Server IP Address Enter the IP address of the NTP server in this field and click Add. Add NTP Server Hostname Enter the hostname of the NTP server in this field and click Add. SNTP Client Mode Configuration Parameters SNTP Synchronization You can enable or disable the three synchronization modes mode(s) available: Unicast, Anycast, or Broadcast. Set Mode Click this to confirm your synchronization mode settings. Select a Local Timezone Select the time difference between UTC (Universal Time Coordinated, formerly known as GMT, Greenwich Mean Time) and your time zone from the drop-down list box. Set Timezone Click this to confirm your timezone setting. Enter SNTP transmit Enter the time (in seconds) of received packet response timeout packet timeout value value upon sync request initiation. Enter SNTP transmit packet retries value Enter the number of packet retry attempts when no response is received from a time server. The P-794H will send another request for synchronization after a timeout. Enter SNTP automatic Specify the time interval that the P-794H automatically sends a resynchronization synchronization request. This function is disabled if the value is polling value set to "0". Set Values Click this to confirm your value settings. Manual System Clock Setting Set the system clock You can manually enter the time and date settings in this field.
