Chapter 6 LAN Setup The following table describes the fields in this screen. Table 34 Tcp Mss Clamp LABEL DESCRIPTION TCP MSS Clamp Select true if you want to enable the TCP MSS Clamp function. If not, select false. Change Click this to save your changes. Reset Click this to restore your previously saved settings. 6.7.3 Edit RIP Versions The RIP version controls the format and the broadcasting method of the RIP packets that the P-794H sends (it recognizes both formats when receiving). In this screen, you can configure whether you want to receive/send RIP V1/V2 routing information packets. You can also decide if multicast packets can be sent. See page 72 for more information about RIP versions. Click the Edit Rip Versions tab in the LAN Connections > Advanced screen. Accept V2 Select true if you want to receive RIP version 2 routing information packets. If not, select false. Send V1 Select true if you want to send RIP version 1 routing information packets.
