Chapter 14 Quality of Service (QoS) The following table describes the labels in this screen. Table 76 QoS > ALD LABEL DESCRIPTION ALD Profiles Profile Name This shows the name of the ALD profile. MinTh This shows the minimum threshold value of the average queue size in number of packets. MaxTh This shows the threshold value of the average queue size in number of packets. MaxPro This shows the maximum value of the packet drop probability. WeightFactor This shows the weight factor value. Delete Select the checkbox and click OK if you want to delete this ALD profile. OK Click this to save your changes. Add a New ALD Profile Profile Name Enter a descriptive name for this ALD profile. MinTh Enter the minimum threshold value of the average queue size in number of packets. If the average queue size is below this value, the packet being enqueued is not dropped. MaxTh Enter the maximum threshold value of the average queue size in number of packets. If average queue size goes above this value, the packet being en-queued is dropped. MaxProb Enter the maximum value of the packet drop probability (between 0 and 1). WeightFactor This parameter signifies the contribution of current queue size in average queue size calculation using EWMA (Exponential Weight Moving Average) technique. If the weight assigned to current queue size is represented in for 2^x (x is exponent of 2), the WeightFactor is the exponent part. The valid range is from -16 to -1.
