Chapter 14 Quality of Service (QoS) 14.5.1 Edit a Priority Queuing Scheduler Profile If the scheduler profile is Strictly Priority Queuing, scheduler for transporting is based on the priority. Therefore, packets with the highest priority will get to send first and only when the highest priority packets have all been sent will the second priority packets being sent. To edit the priority of a scheduler profile, click Edit next to the priority profile to display the following screen. You can assign the priority of the packets as well as the ALD profile to determine their degree of conditions. Click on the drop down list to choose the desired ALD profile. Refer to Section 14.4 on page 168 for more information on ALD. Click OK to save your settings. Click Reset to restore your previously saved settings. Figure 105 Edit Priority Scheduler Profile 14.5.2 Edit a Fair Weight Queuing Scheduler Profile If the scheduler profile is Fair Weight Queuing (WFQ), scheduler for transporting is based on the weight of percentage. Each queue will contain the percentage weight and these weights will identify the total percentage that will get to send on every transmission. To edit a WFQ profile, click Edit next to the WFQ profile to display the following screen. You can assign weight percentage to each queue as well as the ALD profile to determine their degree of conditions. P-794H User's Guide 171
