Chapter 7 Wireless LAN The following table describes the labels in this screen. Table 32 Wireless LAN > MAC Filter > Add LABEL DESCRIPTION MAC Address Enter the MAC addresses of the wireless devices that are allowed or denied access to the Device in these address fields. Enter the MAC addresses in a valid MAC address format, that is, six hexadecimal character pairs, for example, 12:34:56:78:9a:bc. Back Click this to return to the previous screen without saving changes. Apply Click this to save your changes and go back to the previous screen. 7.5 The More AP Screen This screen allows you to enable and configure multiple wireless networks on the Device. Click Network > Wireless LAN > More AP. The following screen displays. Figure 59 Network > Wireless LAN > More AP The following table describes the labels in this screen. Table 33 Network > Wireless LAN > More AP LABEL DESCRIPTION # This is the index number of each SSID profile. Active Select the check box to activate an SSID profile. SSID An SSID profile is the set of parameters relating to one of the Device's BSSs. The SSID (Service Set IDentifier) identifies the Service Set with which a wireless device is associated. Security Modify This field displays the name of the wireless profile on the network. When a wireless client scans for an AP to associate with, this is the name that is broadcast and seen in the wireless client utility. This field indicates the security mode of the SSID profile.
