28.3 Wireless Features Chapter 28 Product Specifications Table 102 Wireless Features External Antenna The Device is equipped with an attached antenna to provide a clear radio signal between the wireless stations and the access points. Wireless LAN MAC Address Your device can check the MAC addresses of wireless stations Filtering against a list of allowed or denied MAC addresses. WEP Encryption WEP (Wired Equivalent Privacy) encrypts data frames before transmitting over the wireless network to help keep network communications private. Wi-Fi Protected Access Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA) is a subset of the IEEE 802.11i security standard. Key differences between WPA and WEP are user authentication and improved data encryption.
