Document The printer driver will select the most suitable color matching method for your document type. Generally, text and business graphics are printed vividly and photographic images are printed softly. s Auto The printer driver automatically selects the document type. In most cases, we recommend using the Auto setting. s Photo Select this mode for Photographic images. s Graphics Select this mode for documents that contain text or business graphics (charts or clip art). s Custom If you want to select the color matching method and halftone method manually, select this mode and press the Custom Setting button to access further settings. Color/Mono Color When your document contains color and you want to print it in color, select this mode. Only generic colors will appear on the printout (unless you also select color matching). Mono Select this mode if your document has only black and gray scale text and/or objects. Mono mode makes the print processing speed faster than color mode. If your document contains color, selecting Mono mode prints it in 256 levels of gray scale. Color Matching You can select the color matching method manually. Select the best one for your document. s Match Monitor Suitable for photographic images. Color is adjusted to get the closest color match to the PC monitor. s Vivid Color Suitable for business graphics such as charts, graphs, and text. The color is adjusted to give more vivid color. 15 - 7 P R I N T E R D R I V E R S E T T I N G S
