19 Using the PhotoCapture 19 Center™ from Your PC (For Windows® Only) Introduction The PhotoCapture Center™ feature requires a USB cable connection to your PC and will work only with Window® 98/98SE, ME and 2000 Professional. 1 Insert a SmartMedia™ or CompactFlash™ card into your MFC. 2 In Windows® Explorer on your PC, double-click the Removable Disk icon. The files and folders that are on the media card will be displayed on your PC screen. Note If both media cards are inserted at the same time, the PhotoCapture Center™ will read only the card that was installed first. To have access to the other card, you must first remove both cards, then insert the media card you wish to access. Caution Do not unplug the power cord, USB cable or remove a SmartMedia™ or CompactFlash™ card from the MFC while the MFC is reading the card (LED is flashing). You can loose data or damage the card. Note While the MFC is printing from the PhotoCapture Center™ function, the PC cannot access the PhotoCapture Center™ for another operation. 19 - 1 U S I N G T H E P H O T O C A P T U R E C E N T E R ™ F R O M Y O U R P C ( F O R W I N D O W S ® O N L Y )
