Errors Indicated on the Display Errors indicated on the display are divided into the three categories and assigned error codes as shown in the table below. Warnings The printer is alerting you to a particular state; printing is temporarily disabled. t A short buzzer sounds twice. t C and a number are displayed alternately. t If the Bk indicator starts to blink, the printer is running low on ink. Recoverable errors The printer is unable to continue printing without you making an adjustment. t A short buzzer sounds twice. t E and a number are displayed alternately. Service call errors The printer may have an unrecoverable error that needs servicing. t A buzzer sounds for about five seconds. t F and one or two numbers or letters (other than C) are displayed alternately. 94 Troubleshooting Chapter 7
