Problem Blinking F and other number Cause Other service call errors Solution If you see a message consisting of the letter F in combination with a number (such as F1 or F2) and the printer beeps for about five seconds, turn the printer off and reconnect your AC adapter. If this does not cause the printer to stop beeping, make a note of the message number and call your local Canon authorized dealer. Operational Problems If you are having problems with the printer, check the problems and solutions listed in the following table. Problem No power reaching printer Cause The printer may not be turned on. The printer may not be securely plugged into the AC adapter. The AC outlet may not be supplying power. Solution Hold down the POWER printer button until the printer beeps. Make sure the AC adapter is plugged securely into the printer and into a wall outlet.
