I When copying in color: G Use COLOR DRAFT resolution for 360 × 360 dpi. G Use COLOR FINE resolution for 360 × 360 dpi; this results in a much better quality reproduction, but takes longer than other settings. G Use COLOR SNAPSHOT when scanning photos that are less wide than a letter-size page. The resolution is 360 × 360 dpi. n I When copying in black & white: G Use B&W TEXT resolution for copying most text documents. G Use B&W PHOTO resolution when copying documents that contain photographs. This scans areas of the document that contain photos with 64 levels of gray, and results in a much better reproduction of the photograph. G When copying in color, you can set the unit to print on plain paper or high resolution paper. Setting the Paper Type for Color Copying G You cannot use the BC-22e Photo BJ Cartridge to make black & white copies. G For copying speeds, refer to Appendix A, Specifications. Function 6.
