In addition to the four handset (FXS) ports, the SRP also has a single line (FXO) port that can be used to place calls to the telephone network in the event of broadband or even SRP failure. Note: The SRP520 line port is a passive interface that connects the PSTN line with FXS port 1 during failure conditions.
