Replacing the print cartridge Use the below instructions to remove or replace the print cartridge. To replace the print cartridge 1. Open the print-cartridge door, and remove the print cartridge. CAUTION To prevent damage, do not expose the print cartridge to light. Cover the print cartridge if necessary. Also, do not touch the black sponge transfer roller inside the printer. By doing so, you can damage the printer. 2. Remove the new print cartridge from the packaging. 3. Remove the sealing tape from the new print cartridge. 4. Reinstall the print cartridge, and then close the print-cartridge door. 5. Dispose of the old print cartridge according to the instructions that were shipped with the new print cartridge. 48 Chapter 4 Maintenance ENWW
