Use HP Instant Share (networked) Chapter 13 HP Instant Share Receive HP Instant Share Receive lets you receive images from any friend or relative who has accessed the HP Instant Share service and obtained an HP Passport user ID and password. Receive images from any sender or a specified group of senders You can receive images from any sender with an HP Passport account (Open mode) or a specified group of senders (Private mode). ● If you choose to receive from any sender, simply provide the name of your HP allin-one to those senders from whom you want to receive images. You assign a name to your device when you set up your HP all-in-one with HP Instant Share. The device name is not case sensitive. Open mode (receive from any sender) is the default receive mode. For more information on receiving in Open mode, see Receive from any sender (Open mode). You can also choose to block specific individuals from sending to your HP all-inone through the HP Instant Share access list. For more information on using the access list, see the HP Instant Share service onscreen Help. ● If you choose to receive from a specified group of senders, add each sender from whom you wish to receive images to the HP Instant Share access list; then assign each sender access privileges. For more information on assigning access privileges, see the HP Instant Share service onscreen Help. Preview or automatically print received images HP Instant Share gives you the option to preview an image collection prior to printing or allow collections to print automatically to your HP all-in-one. Auto print privileges are enabled on a sender by sender basis from the HP Instant Share access list. Only image collections from those senders to whom you assign auto print privileges will automatically print to your device. All other collections will be received in preview mode. HP Instant Share Receive

HP Instant Share Receive lets you receive images from any friend or relative who has

accessed the HP Instant Share service and obtained an HP Passport user ID and

password.

Receive images from any sender or a specified group of senders

You can receive images from any sender with an HP Passport account (Open mode) or a

specified group of senders (Private mode).

If you choose to receive from any sender, simply provide the name of your HP all-

in-one to those senders from whom you want to receive images. You assign a

name to your device when you set up your HP all-in-one with HP Instant Share.
