This option controls whether the tray configuration message appears whenever a tray is closed. Two options are available: ● DISPLAY: This option shows the tray configuration message when a tray is closed. You can configure the tray size or type directly from this message. ● DO NOT DISPLAY: This option prevents the tray configuration message from automatically appearing. This option turns on or off the control-panel prompt to select another tray when the specified tray is empty. Two options are available: ● ENABLED: When this option is selected, the user is prompted either to add paper to the selected tray or to choose a different tray. ● DISABLED: When this option is selected, the user is not given the option of selecting a different tray. The product prompts the user to add paper to the tray that was initially selected. This option allows you to load letterhead or preprinted paper the same way for every job, whether printing on one or both sides of the page.
