FAX Operation (Advanced) 9 Register the forwarding requirements. When FAX was selected in step 8. Forwarding requirements Sub Address Sender FAX Number Port Registration method Press [Sub Address] and enter the sub address using the numeric keys. You can use up to 20 digits including the numbers from 0 to 9, ' (space)', '#' and '*' characters to enter a sub address. Press [Sender FAX Number] and enter the sender's fax number using the numeric keys. You can enter up to 20 characters. Press [Port] and select [Port 1] or [Port 2]. This setting only appears when the Dual FAX option is installed. When i-FAX was selected in step 8. Forwarding requirements E-mail Address Registration method Press [E-mail Address]. Enter the destination Internet fax address and then press [OK]. You can enter up to 126 characters. NOTE: When you set the sender fax number or destination address as a forwarding requirement, you can use an asterisk (*) as a wild-card character. You can use this feature to specify a domain or to specify faxes from a particular country or region, for example. E.g.: • '44*': Only fax numbers that start with '44' are forwarded. • '*@AAAA.com' or '*@AAAA*': Only Internet faxes received from senders at the AAAA.com or AAAA domains are forwarded.
