Additional functions Timer Setting the timer The timer can be used to time separate kitchen activities. You can also use the timer while a program is running. You can set a time between 1 second and 9 hours 59 minutes, 59 seconds. A time of up to 10 minutes will be shown in min:sec in the display, and a time of more than 10 minutes in h:min. The time must be entered in minutes and seconds or hours, minutes and seconds. Example: 8 minutes = 0:08:00. At the end of the time you will hear an audible tone. Turn the timer off by touching "Timer". If you do not turn the timer off, the time will continue counting upwards in seconds and the "Timer" symbol will flash in the display. This will tell you how much time has passed since the set time elapsed. If the time of day display has been turned off (see "Settings - Time of day"), you must turn the appliance on K to set the timer. ^ Touch "Timer". ^ Use the numeric keypad to enter the desired time. ^ Confirm with "OK". Changing the timer setting ^ Touch "Timer", enter the new time, and confirm with "OK". Deleting a timer setting ^ Touch "Timer", and select "Reset". 42
