Handling SD Memory Card Recording The AVCHD format records data as files and is therefore ideally suited for computer processing. As shown in the figure to the right, the folder structure interrelates a variety of essential information not only audio and video. If any of this data is changed or lost, it will not be recognized as AVCHD data and the card may no longer be possible to use in an AVCHD device.
