Editing Playlist Function This unit allows the user to create a playlist that combines the desired audio and video sections recorded on a P2 card. The user can play back the clip sections on the playlist to check what the created footage will look like after editing. Sections of audio and video selected for playback are referred to as an event and a list of such events is called a playlist. Editing results can easily be checked since editing does not involve any direct changes of clip data. In normal playback, playback starts from the starting point and goes on until the last clip. Playlists can also be stored on a P2 card. • Voice-overs can also be recorded. Since the audio data should be saved to the same P2 card as the playlist, first save the playlist to a P2 card. • Do not use 24PN clips that have undergone nonlinear editing in a playlist. Edit points may not be correctly recorded. • Do not use and register multiple copies of the same clip since that may result in incorrect recognition. • Up to 100 events can be created per track. • The maximum duration of a playlist is 23:59:59:29. (23:59:59:24 when 50, 25 or 60-25 is selected in setup menu No.25 (SYSTEM FREQ), 24:01:26.13 in drop-frame indication and 23:59:59:20 in 24PN) 74 Editing: Playlist Function
