Viewing the List of Computer Backups Note: Backups created using Windows Vista and Windows 7 procedures do not display here. 1. Click Backups on the navigation panel. The Backups page opens: A list of backups on your My Book Live Duo displays. For each backup, the list displays the network-attached device storing the backup, backup size, and backup type (WD SmartWare or Time Machine), and date of last backup. 2. If you would like some information about backing up your files using WD SmartWare, Time Machine, or Windows Backup, click the appropriate link in the panel on the right. Deleting a Backup WARNING! When deleting a backup, remember that you are erasing all of the files in the backup. Important: Please be sure to cancel the scheduled backup separately to prevent the recreation of this backup. 1. page lists and provides information about
computer backups stored on the My Book Live Duo and enables you to delete them.
Viewing the List of Computer Backups
Note:
Backups created using Windows Vista and Windows 7 procedures do not
display here.

Click
Backups
on the navigation panel. The Backups page opens:
A list of backups on your My Book Live Duo displays. For each backup, the list displays
the network-attached device storing the backup, backup size, and backup type (WD
SmartWare or Time Machine), and date of last backup.
2.
If you would like some information about backing up your files using
WD SmartWare, Time Machine, or Windows Backup, click the appropriate link in the
panel on the right.
Deleting a Backup
1.
Click the trash can icon
to the right of the backup.
2.
In response to the confirmation message, click the
Delete
button.
WARNING!
When deleting a backup, remember that you are erasing all of the files in the
backup.
Important:
Please be sure to cancel the scheduled backup separately to prevent the
recreation of this backup.
