CONFIRMING THE PATTERN POSITION Displaying a Background Image Using a special application downloaded to a smartphone or tablet, you can transfer a photo of the hooped fabric to be embroidered to the machine to be used as a background image. The embroidery frame is displayed in the application. You can see how the pattern will be arranged on the actual fabric. Note • The wireless network settings must first be specified on the machine. Refer to "WIRELESS NETWORK CONNECTION FUNCTIONS" on page 33. • Embroidery frames with factory-coded stickers can be used with the application (My Design Snap). ■ Calibrating the Position of the Background Image By calibrating the position of the background image transferred to the machine, the pattern can be positioned more accurately. a Select a pattern. (page 108) b Set the application to advanced mode, attach the embroidery positioning sticker to the fabric in the hoop, take the photo of the background, and with the advanced mode of the application, transfer it to the machine. This method enables more accurate positioning. Slowly turn the handwheel toward you (counterclockwise) to check the needle drop point. Then, turn the handwheel away from you (clockwise) until the mark on the handwheel is at the top. The carriage cannot move if the mark on the handwheel is not at the top. 1 Mark a 132 e Press .  The position of the background image is calibrated.
