Printing [Color Halftones] Select a dither pattern when you print data in color halftones. Resolution: Prints normal letters and photo images at high quality. You can print most image data to a very high quality by selecting this item. Gradation: Produces high-quality printing for image data that contains a lot of gradations for Graphics and Computer Graphics. Color Tone: Make any color differences imperceptible when you print photos or images on multiple pages. Pattern1 to 5: Applies different dither patterns to text data, graphics data, and image 2 data. Pattern 1: Text = Resolution; Graphics = Gradation; Image = Gradation Pattern 2: Text = Resolution; Graphics = Resolution; Image = Gradation Pattern 3: Text = Resolution; Graphics = Color Tone; Image = Color Tone Pattern 4: Text = Resolution; Graphics = Resolution; Image = Color Tone Pattern 5: Text = Resolution; Graphics = Gradation; Image = Color Tone [Monochrome Halftones] Specifies the use of dithering for printing halftone data. Pattern 1: Applies the same dither pattern to text data, graphics data, and image data. Pattern 2: Applies dither pattern of clear-cut to text data, of high-quality gradation to graphics data, and of high-quality nature image to image data. Pattern 3: Applies dither pattern of clear-cut to text and graphics data, and of high-quality nature image to image data. None (Solid) Prints all colors in black except for white. [Enable Image Correction] Select Enable Image Correction to smooth out the streaking and coarse features that tend to occur when printing enlarged image files and photographs using a software application. [Tone Save] Modifies print data to print lighter and conserve toner. Off: Prints using normal density. On: Prints text lighter in printouts for proofreading and checking. [Gray Compensation] Makes graphics data in black and gray printed clearly. [Prioritize Printing of Colored Lines and Text] Check this box when printed color lines or text look patchy or broken.
