• Do not connect the headphones to the AV OUT/ terminal if the icon does not appear on the screen. Only noise will be output in such case. NOTES • Use commercially available headphones with a ∅ 3.5 mm minijack. • When you change the operating mode, the [AV/Headphones] setting in mode will return to [ AV]. FUNC. [ Menu] [AV/Headphones] [Headphones] FUNC. appears. TO ADJUST THE VOLUME OF THE HEADPHONES In mode, adjust ( ) the volume of the headphones with the [Headphone Volume] setting ( 96). In mode, adjust the headphones volume the same way you adjust the speaker's volume ( 39). IMPORTANT • When using headphones, make sure to lower the volume to an appropriate level. Using the Mini Advanced Shoe You can attach an optional DM-100 Directional Stereo Microphone or an optional VL-5 Video Light. For details about how to attach and use the accessories, refer also to the instruction manual of the each accessory. * * Only the optional VL-5 Video Light can be used in mode. 1 Pull out the viewfinder. 2 Lift and rotate the mini advanced shoe cover. 3 Attach the optional accessory to the mini advanced shoe. When a compatible accessory is attached to the mini advanced shoe, will appear on the screen. 55
