Print a menu map and a configuration page, if possible, to use as a reference when you
reinstall the new formatter.

Remove any EIO accessories from the EIO slots.

Facing the back of the printer, loosen the two captive screws (callout 1) and slide the
formatter assembly out.

Remove any DIMMs from the DIMM slots.
