These hard disk drives have LEDs that provide status and activity information. Hard Disk Drive Indicators The hard disk drives have two LEDs per drive, as described below. • Status LED-The drive status LED is not used on the HP 9000 rp3410 or HP 9000 rp3440 server. • Activity LED-The Drive Activity LED is flashing green and indicates disk drive activity. This LED is directly controlled by the disk drive and turns on when a drive is accessed.
