End a User Session You should end a standard user's session when you need to log that user off from the MultiPoint Server system to return the desktop to its default settings. The user receives a warning that the connection is about to end and is prompted to save any work. You should end a user's connection when you want to: ● Restart the MultiPoint Server system computer ● Shut down the MultiPoint Server system computer ● Switch modes ● Log off a user who forgot to log off To end user sessions 1. In Normal mode, click the Desktops tab. 2. Do one of the following: ● To end all user sessions, select the User Name check box. ● To end one or more user sessions, select the check box adjacent to the name of the user whose connection you want to end. 3. Click End Now. Status for the connection will state Ending and the user's name will no longer display on the Desktop tab when the connection has ended. 144 Appendix H Managing Desktops

about to end and is prompted to save any work. You should end a user’s connection when you want to:
Restart the MultiPoint Server system computer
Shut down the MultiPoint Server system computer
Switch modes
Log off a user who forgot to log off
To end user sessions

In Normal mode, click the Desktops tab.
2.
Do one of the following:
To end all user sessions, select the User Name check box.
