POST Messages POST message 1962 2462 Description A startup sequence error occurred. Action: 1. Make sure that the startup options are set correctly in the Configuration/Setup Utility program. If the settings are not correct, change and save them. For instructions on using the Configuration/Setup Utility program, see "Using the Configuration/Setup Utility program" on page 39. 2. Make sure that the primary IDE or SCSI cable is properly installed and securely connected. 3. Make sure that all adapters are installed correctly. For instructions on adding adapters, see "Installing or removing ISA and PCI adapters" on page 82. If the problem cannot be isolated and corrected, have the system serviced. A video configuration error occurred. Action: 1. Make sure that the primary monitor signal cable is securely attached to the monitor and the monitor connector (video port) on the rear of your server. To find the location of the video port, see "Input/output connectors" on page 11. 2. Make sure that the graphics adapter in your server, if you installed one, is securely connected to the connector where you installed it (an ISA or PCI slot connector on the riser card, or the dedicated AGP slot connector in the server wall). For the location of the ISA and PCI slot connectors on the riser card, see "ISA and PCI adapters" on page 80. For the location of the dedicated AGP slot connector, see "System Board Illustration" on page 253. 3. If you just added or removed video memory, you must save the new configuration in the Configuration/Setup Utility program. See "Using the Configuration/Setup Utility program" on page 39 for additional information and instructions on saving the configuration.
