Entering the PIN Code When searching for the device, you may be requested to enter the PIN code depending on the device to be connected. When Requested to Enter the PIN Code The PIN code input screen appears. Refer to the instruction manual of the device to be connected and enter the PIN code using the number keys and press [A/B]. If you press [ ] when the PIN code input screen is displayed, the Bluetooth device information screen appears. You can confirm the device name, device address, and device class. Note: ¡ The PIN code differs depending on the device to be connected. Refer to the instruction manual of the Bluetooth device and enter the correct PIN code. Disconnecting from a Bluetooth Device You can disconnect a connected Bluetooth device to stop communication. 1 Access Menu No. 933. 2 Select the device. • When disconnecting the device that is already selected, move to step 3. If you press [ ], the Bluetooth device information screen appears. If you select the device to be disconnected and press [ ], the Bluetooth device information screen appears. You can confirm the device name, device address, and device class. Pressing [MODE] returns to the previous screen. 2 Select the device to be connected. When connecting the device that is already selected, proceed to step 3. If you select the device to be connected and press [ ], the Bluetooth device information screen appears. You can confirm the device name, device address, and device class of the device to be connected. 3 Press [ENT]. [Connecting. . .] screen appears. 4 Make the connection operation by the headset. When the headset is connected, < > appears on the display. • Since the connection operation depends on the headset, refer to the instruction manual of the headset. Displaying the Device List Menu Screen If you select the device to be connected and then press [MENU], the device list menu screen appears. Select [Connect]. If you press [ ] from the device list menu screen, the Bluetooth device information screen appears. You can confirm the device name, device address, and device class of the device to be connected. Pressing [MODE] returns to the previous screen. 3 Press [A/B]. The disconnection process begins. • If 30 seconds or more passes during the disconnection process, the Bluetooth device disconnection failure screen appears. Pressing [A/B] returns to the frequency screen. Perform the procedure again from step 1. Note: ¡ When disconnecting from a PC, please make a disconnecting operation by the PC. Clearing Devices by the Device List Clear a paired device by the device list. 1 Access Menu No. 931. The device list screen appears. CONNECTING BY THE PAIRED DEVICE LIST A device that has been paired once is registered to the device list as a paired device. Select and connect to a device from the paired device list. Connecting by the Device List 1 Access Menu No. 931. The device list screen appears. If there is not even one device paired, "No device is found" is displayed. Refer to "Connecting with a Headset (Pairing)" and then pair a device. 2 Press [MENU]. The device list menu screen appears. 18-2
