SETTING DISPLAY Display Area Selects the Display area. 1 Access Menu No. 573. SETTING DIGIPEATER The transceiver works as a standalone digipeater. Digipeat (My Call) Sets whether to run Digipeat (MyCall) when the transceiver is used as a digipeater. If the receiver packet path contains My Callsign (set in Menu No.500), the digipeat completion flag ( ) is added to My Callsign and the packet is digipeated. (e.g., "W4DJY-1" > "W4DJY-1 ") 1 Access Menu No. 580. 2 Select [Entire Always], [Entire Display] or [One Line]. [Entire Always]: The received new data, duplicate data, and My station data information appears on the full display, other data information appears only at the top of the display. [Entire Display]: The received new data information appears on the full display, other data information appears only at the top of the display. [One Line]: The received new data information appears only at the top of the display Note: ¡ When an emergency message or a message designated for your station is received, the received data information appears on the full display, even if the display method is set to [One Line]. Interrupt Time Set the duration to display an indication for when new data is received. If you select [Infinite], the indication cannot be canceled. 1 Access Menu No. 574. 2 Select [Off] or [On]. [Off]: Turns OFF the Digipeat (MyCall) function. [On]: Activates the Digipeat (MyCall) function. UIcheck This function will not digipeat a one-time received UI frame within the set UIcheck time. This applies to any of UIdigipeat, UIflood, and UItrace. 1 Access Menu No. 581. 2 Select [5], [10], [20]. [30], [60] seconds or [Infinite]. APRS VOICE This function is to announce the Callsign and information of the transmission source when an APRS signal is received. 1 Access Menu No. 575. 2 Select from [0], [1], [2] to [250] seconds. Note: ¡ The UI frame (Unnumbered Information frame) is used in APRS to exchange data without establishing a connection. UIdigipeat, UIfood and UItrace are all specialized UI frame forwarding methods. 2 Select [Off] or [On]. [Off]: Turn off the APRS Voice function. [On]: Turn on the APRS Voice function. Note: ¡ The APRS Voice (menu No. 575) operates regardless of the Voice Guidance mode setting (menu No. 916). 14-21

[Entire Always]:
The received new data, duplicate data,
and My station data information appears on the full display,
other data information appears only at the top of the
display.
[Entire Display]:
The received new data information
appears on the full display, other data information appears
only at the top of the display.
[One Line]:
The received new data information appears
only at the top of the display
Note:

When an emergency message or a message designated for
your station is received, the received data information appears
on the full display, even if the display method is set to [One Line].
Interrupt Time
Set the duration to display an indication for when new data
is received. If you select [Infinite], the indication cannot be
canceled.

APRS VOICE
This function is to announce the Callsign and information of
the transmission source when an APRS signal is received.

If the receiver packet path contains My Callsign (set in Menu
