RX AFC This function is to correct a slight frequency offset of the received signal to achieve frequency stability. 1 Access Menu No. 616. 2 Select [Off] or [On]. [Off]: Turns off the RX AFC. [On]: Turns on the RX AFC. Note: ¡ This function does not work with the TX frequency. BK (BREAK) CALL BK (Break) Call is used to simultaneously call two stations that are communicating by the Callsign squelch in DV/DR mode. BK (Break) Call Function When you are using the Callsign squelch, the squelch does not open even if a signal that is not to your station is received. When a signal with the BK (Break) Call set to [On] is received, the squelch opens even if the signal is that of the other station with which you are communicating. When C station calls A station with BK Call [Off]: A and B Stations are communicating by the Callsign squelch. When C station calls A station, B station does not hear that call. A station B station FM AUTO DETECTION ON DV This function is to receive an FM signal if FM signal reception is available when operating in DV mode. 1 Access Menu No. 617. 2 Select [Off] or [On]. [Off]: Does not receive an FM signal in DV mode. [On]: Switches to FM mode and receives the FM signal automatically in DV mode. C station When C station calls A station with BK Call [On]: Stations A and B are communicating by the Callsign squelch. When C station calls A station, B station also hears that call. A station B station C station Note: ¡ This function is only for DV mode and does not operate in DR mode. DATA FRAME OUTPUT This function is to output digital data received by D-STAR from the USB connector. 1 Access Menu No. 618. 2 Select [All], [Related to DSQ], or [DATA mode]. [All]: Transfers all received data to the USB connector. [Related to DSQ]: Transfers to the Micro-USB connector linked to the Callsign squelch/ Code squelch. The digital data is not output to the USB connector when the sound is muted by the Callsign squelch/ Code squelch. [DATA Mode]: Data is output to the USB connector only in DATA Mode. Turning On the BK (Break) Call function 1 Access Menu No. 619. 2 Select [On] and press [A/B]. When the BK (Break) Call is turned [On], the < appears on the display. > icon 3 Press [PTT] to transmit to one of the stations. The other transceiver with the same destination Callsign set for the destination (TO) (i.e., the other station that communicated by the Callsign squelch) can be called. FM AUTO DETECTION ON DV
This function is to receive an FM signal if FM signal reception
is available when operating in DV mode.

Does not receive an FM signal in DV mode.
[On]:

This function is to output digital data received by D-STAR from
the USB connector.

[All]:
Transfers all received data to the USB connector.
[Related to DSQ]:
Transfers to the Micro-USB connector
linked to the Callsign squelch/ Code squelch. The digital
