24 WEATHER ALERT (TH-D75A ONLY) The Weather Alert is available only in the USA and Canada. When activated, this function will check for a received NOAA 1050 Hz tone. When the tone is received, the weather alert tone will sound. WEATHER CHANNEL SCAN The memory channel only for the weather alert is scanned. 1 Access Menu No. 136. WEATHER ALERT ON/ OFF The transceiver stops scanning at a frequency or memory channel on which a signal is detected. It then continues scanning according to which resume mode you have selected. Weather Channel Whether or not the Weather Alert is activated, you can still access the weather channels. 24 WEATHER ALERT (TH-D75A ONLY)
