STANDBY BEEP This function is to notify with a beep sound that transmission has ended when a D-STAR signal is received. 1 Access Menu No. 645. The following operations are prohibited when the Reflector Terminal mode is started. Note: ¡ The standby beep volume can be changed in Menu No. 915. ¡ When the reception sound is muted by the Callsign squelch/ Code squelch, the standby beep does not sound. DV GATEWAY MODE In DV Gateway mode, the transceiver is connected to a Windows PC or Android device with a third-party application installed via USB or Bluetooth, and D-STAR operation is available over the Internet instead of using Amateur Radio waves. A dedicated My Callsign in DV Gateway mode is required for operation. The demodulation mode is set to DV and the display format is similar to DR mode. The destination or control command is displayed in the "TO" area, and My Callsign is displayed in the "FROM" area. My Callsign A dedicated My Callsign must be set for operation in DV Gateway mode. Up to 6 Callsigns can be registered the same way as Menu No.610 (My Callsign in DV/DR mode). 1 Access Menu No. 651. 2 Select a number for registration and press [A/B]. 3 Input your Callsign. •For the character input procedure, refer to page No.6-1.
