Copy default settings Section 7 COPIER MANAGEMENT The following table indicates the copy default settings available in this copier. Change any or all of the settings as desired in order to make the most effective use of your copier. Default setting Description Available settings Factory setting Exposure mode Selects between auto exposure and manual exposure as the Manual / Auto default copy exposure mode in the initial mode. Manual Exposure adjustment Changes the incremental step to be used during adjustment 1 step / 0.5 step step of the copy exposure. 1 step Original quality Determines the default setting that will be used for the image quality in the initial mode. Text+Photo / Photo original / Print original / Text / Map Text+Photo Copy mode Sets the default mode for color copying. Auto color (Auto colour) / Full color (Full colour) / Black white Full color (Full colour) A.C.S. adjustment Adjusts the sensitivity level that the copier will use to 1 - 5 3 differentiate between color originals and black and white originals when the A.C.S. (Auto Color Selection) mode is selected. The lower the setting, the more originals will be identified as color originals, and the higher the setting, the more originals will be identified as black and white originals. Eco print mode Determines whether the Eco print mode will be the default Off / On Off ON/OFF setting in the initial mode. In this case, the amount of toner that is used to make the copies will be reduced, and images will be printed out relatively lighter than normal. Paper selection Sets whether the copier will automatically select the same size of copy paper as the original once an original is set (APS: auto paper selection mode), or whether the drawer[cassette] selected "Default drawer" ["Default cassette"] setting will be automatically selected. APS / Default drawer[cassette] APS Paper type (Auto Selects the types of paper that are available for selection color paper selection) under the APS (Auto Paper Selection) mode when making color copies. * It is possible to select the type of paper that has been designated for the drawer[cassette] currently in use. A.C.S. adjustment

Adjusts the sensitivity level that the copier will use to

differentiate between color originals and black and white

originals when the A.C.S. (Auto Color Selection) mode is

selected. The lower the setting, the more originals will be

identified as color originals, and the higher the setting, the

more originals will be identified as black and white

originals.

Eco print mode

Determines whether the Eco print mode will be the default

setting in the initial mode. In this case, the amount of toner
