Section 9 TROUBLESHOOTING Removal procedures Misfeed in the paper feed section Misfeed in one of the drawers[cassettes] No.1 through No.4 If the following display appears, a misfeed has occurred in one of the drawers[cassettes] No.1 through No.4. Perform the following procedure to remove the jammed paper. Inch specifications Paper misfeed. 1.Open paper drawer 1. 2.Remove paper. 3.Close paper drawer. JAM Metric specifications Paper misfeed. JAM 1.Open paper cassette 1. 2.Remove paper. 3.Close paper cassette. 2 Remove the jammed paper without tearing it. NOTE If the paper does happen to tear, remove any loose scraps from inside the copier. 3 Push the drawer[cassette] back in firmly. * Drawers[cassettes] No.3 and No.4 refer to the optional Paper Feeder. 1 Pull out the drawer[cassette] currently being used. 9-6
