Operate the paper conveyor release lever and pull the
paper conveyor unit out towards you as far as it will go.

Turn the green transfer unit release lever to the left until it
reaches a vertical position.

Grasp the transfer unit handle (shown as
(1)
in the
illustration) and pull the transfer unit out towards you as
far as it will go.

Remove the jammed paper without tearing it. If the paper
is difficult to remove at all, turn the black transfer drum
dial (shown as

in the illustration) towards you. The
