Misfeed inside the right side drawer[cassette] cover No.1 or No.2 If the following display appears, a misfeed has occurred inside the right side drawer[cassette] cover No.1 or No.2. Perform the following procedure to remove the jammed paper. Inch specifications Paper misfeed. 1.Open Right Side Cover of drawer 1. 2.Remove paper. 3.Close Cover. JAM Metric specifications Paper misfeed. JAM 1.Open right cover 1. 2.Remove paper. 3.Close cover. Section 9 TROUBLESHOOTING 3 Pull out the indicated drawer[cassette]. 4 If there is any jammed paper inside that drawer[cassette], remove it without tearing it. * The right side drawer[cassette] cover No.2 is part of the optional Paper Feeder. 1 Open the right cover to the drawer[cassette] being used. NOTE If the paper does happen to tear, remove any loose scraps from inside the copier. 5 Push the drawer[cassette] back in firmly. Close the right cover. 2 Remove the jammed paper without tearing it. NOTE If the paper does happen to tear, remove any loose scraps from inside the copier. 9-7
