Section 8 OPTIONAL EQUIPMENT Paper Feeder This paper storage unit has two 250-sheet capacity drawers[cassettes] similar to those included as standard equipment with your copier. • Paper capacity (each drawer[cassette])250 sheets (standard copy paper of a paper weight between 60 g/m2 and 90 g/m2) • Acceptable sizes of paper: 8 1/2" × 11", 11" × 8 1/2", 8 1/2" × 14" and 11" × 17" [A5R, B5R, A4R, A4, B4 and A3] Paper is loaded in these drawers the same manner as with the included drawers[cassettes]. (See page 3-1.) * An access cover is included on the right side of the unit just in case paper jams in either of these drawers[cassettes]. * Casters are attached to the bottom of the Paper Feeder. Document Finisher The Document Finisher stores a large quantity of copies and can sort multiple copy sets by shifting the position of ejection for each one. It can also staple the copy sets and/or punch holes in them as well. For more details, refer to the Operation Guide for the Document Finisher. * To prevent the copier from tipping over because of weight in the copier and the upper paper drawers[cassettes], the caster kit must be installed at the bottom-most Paper Feeder, when an optional Paper Feeder is installed with the copier. CAUTION To prevent the possibility of accidents due to tilting the copier body, always turn the desk's stopper bolts until they make firm contact with the floor during initial installation or whenever the machine is moved. CAUTION To prevent the copier from tipping over, the optional caster kit must be installed when the copier is installed with an optional Paper Feeder. IMPORTANT! Cautions during copying: • If copies come out curled or are stacked unevenly, turn the paper in the drawer[cassette] over. • When copying onto special paper such as OHP film, etc., be sure to specify the type of paper that is set on the MP tray.
