13: Maintenance Diagnostics The Diagnostics web page provides methods for diagnosing problems such as network connectivity and device port input/output problems. You can use equivalent commands on the command line interface. An additional diagnostic, loopback, is only available as a command. 1. Click the Maintenance tab and select the Diagnostics option. Figure 13-7 shows the page that displays. Figure 13-7 Diagnostics Page 2. Enter the following fields. Select Diagnostics ARP Table Netstat Host Lookup Select one or more diagnostic methods you want to run, or select All to run them all. Address Resolution Protocol (ARP) table used to view the IP address-tohardware address mapping. Displays network connections. If you select the checkbox, select a protocol or select All for both protocols to control the output of the Netstat report. If you enter a host name in the corresponding Hostname field, verifies that the SLC device can resolve the host name into an IP address (if DNS is enabled). SLC™ Console Manager User Guide 187
