You can use this program to configure serial- and parallel-connector assignments, change the drive startup sequence, set the date and time, and set passwords. See "Using the Configuration/Setup Utility program" on page 19 for more information. v SCSISelect Utility program (some models) With the built-in SCSISelect Utility program, you can configure the devices that are attached to the optional SCSI adapter. See "Using the SCSISelect Utility program (some models)" on page 22 for more information. Using the Configuration/Setup Utility program This section provides the instructions for starting the Configuration/Setup Utility program and descriptions of the menu choices that are available. Starting the Configuration/Setup Utility program Complete the following steps to start the Configuration/Setup Utility program: 1. Turn on the computer and watch the monitor screen. 2. When the message, Press F1 for Configuration/Setup, appears, press F1. 3. Follow the instructions that appear on the screen. Choices available from the Configuration/Setup Utility main menu From the Configuration/Setup Utility main menu, you can select settings that you want to change. Note: The choices on some menus might differ slightly from the ones that are described in this book, depending on the BIOS version in your computer.
