EP Defaults This setting is used to restore each printer setting listed in EP SETUP to its factory default value. Sometimes this is used to help correct print quality problems. To restore EP Defaults: 1. Touch to select EP Defaults from EP SETUP. 2. Touch to select Restore to reset the values to the factory settings, and touch Restore to exit without changing the settings. to select Do Not Touch Back to exit without changing the settings. Fuser Temperature (Fuser Temp) This adjustment can be used to help solve some customer problems with paper curl on low-grade papers and problems with letterheads on some types of media. The fuser temperature can be adjusted to: Normal, Lower, Lowest. The default is Normal. Touch Back to return to Diagnostics Menu. Fuser Page Count The fuser page count can only be viewed and cannot be changed. Touch Back to return to Diagnostics Menu. Warm Up Time You can change the amount of time the printer warms up before allowing pages to print by changing this setting from 0 to 5. The factory sets the warm up at 0 or no warm up time.
