Dialing Options Dialing options are displayed when you press numbers in the phone's standby mode. after entering To select an option, highlight it and press . ᮣ Call to dial the phone number. ᮣ Call:Speaker On to dial the phone number in speakerphone mode. ᮣ Save Phone# to save the phone number in your Contacts list. (See "Saving a Phone Number" on page 23.) ᮣ H Hard Pause to insert a hard pause. (See "Dialing and Saving Phone Numbers With Pauses" on page 24.) ᮣ T 2-Sec. Pause to insert a 2-second pause. (See "Dialing and Saving Phone Numbers With Pauses" on page 24.) ᮣ Hyphen to insert a hyphen manually where you like, however, they are mainly for show. Tip: To speed dial a phone number, press and hold appropriate speed dial key locations 2-9. See page 62 to set this feature. This option appears when you enter four digits and press . ᮣ Abbrev. Dial to dial the phone number in your Contacts list that ends with the four digits you enter. (See "Abbreviated Dialing" on page 25.) This option appears when you enter four or more digits and press . ᮣ Find to display Contacts list entries that end with the digits you enter. (See "Finding a Phone Number" on page 24.)
