Chapter 1 Introducing the ISG50 Use a #2 Phillips screwdriver to install the screws. Note: Failure to use the proper screws may damage the unit. 1.2.1 Rack-Mounted Installation Procedure 1 Align one bracket with the holes on one side of the ISG50 and secure it with the included bracket screws (smaller than the rack-mounting screws). 2 Attach the other bracket in a similar fashion. Figure 6 Attaching Mounting Brackets and Screws 3 After attaching both mounting brackets, position the ISG50 in the rack by lining up the holes in the brackets with the appropriate holes on the rack. Secure the ISG50 to the rack with the rackmounting screws. Figure 7 Rack Mounting 1.3 Connecting the Frame Ground Connect the frame ground on the rear panel to a building's protective earthing terminals.
