Chapter 2 Connection Wizard Note: If you get an error message, check your hardware connections. Make sure your Internet connection is up and running. The following screen depends on your Internet connection type. Enter the details provided by your Internet Service Provider (ISP) in the fields (if any). Table 3 Internet Connection Type CONNECTION TYPE DESCRIPTION IPoE Select the IPoE (IP over Ethernet) option when the WAN port is used as a regular Ethernet. PPPoE Select the PPPoE (Point-to-Point Protocol over Ethernet) option for a dial-up connection. 2.3.1 Connection Type: IPoE Choose IPoE as the Internet Connection Type when the WAN port is used as a regular Ethernet.
