Change Password 2. External Server Enter Menu Selection Number: You should change the default password. If you forget your password you have to restore the default configuration file. Refer to the section on changing the system password in the Introducing the SMT chapter and the section on resetting the ZyXEL Device in the chapter about introducing the web configurator . 27.3 RADIUS RADIUS (Remote Authentication Dial-In User Service) is based on a client-sever model that supports authentication, authorization and accounting. The RADIUS is an external server and handles the following tasks: • Authentication Determines the identity of the users. • Authorization Determines the network services available to authenticated users once they are connected to the network. • Accounting Keeps track of the client's network activity.
