P-202H Plus v2 User's Guide 28.4 Diagnostic The diagnostic facility allows you to test the different aspects of your ZyXEL Device to determine if it is working properly. Menu 24.4 allows you to choose among various types of diagnostic tests to evaluate your system, as shown in the following figure. Table 90 System Maintenance Menu Diagnostic FIELD Hang Up B1 Call Hang Up B2 Call Reset ISDN ISDN Connection Test DESCRIPTION This tool hangs up the B1 channel. It is only applicable if the B1 channel is currently in use. This tool hangs up the B2 channel. It is only applicable if the B2 channel is currently in use. This command re-initializes the ISDN link to the telephone company. You can test to see if your ISDN line is working properly by using this option. This command triggers the ZyXEL Device to perform a loop-back test to check the functionality of the ISDN line. Hang Up B1 Call
This tool hangs up the B1 channel. It is only applicable if the B1 channel is
currently in use.
Hang Up B2 Call
This tool hangs up the B2 channel. It is only applicable if the B2 channel is
currently in use.
Reset ISDN
This command re-initializes the ISDN link to the telephone company.
ISDN Connection Test
You can test to see if your ISDN line is working properly by using this
option. This command triggers the ZyXEL Device to perform a loop-back
test to check the functionality of the ISDN line. If the test is not successful,
note the error message that you receive and consult your network
administrator.
