Error Messages See the table below when the error and status messages appear on the display. Message ADJUSTING WAITING TO SCAN AUTO REDIAL CHANGE PAPERSIZE CHANGE REG'D SIZE → COMMON SETTINGS CHECK DOCUMENT CLOSE COVER FRONT OR LEFT COVER DATA ERROR DOCUMENT TOO LONG DRUM IS NOT SET INSERT THE DRUM FEEDER PAPER JAM CHECK THE FEEDER INITIALIZING... Description Action The machine is not ready for scanning. Wait until the machine is ready. This message appears when the recipient is engaged in direct sending and the job is waiting. Disappears when the transmission restarts. The size of the paper in the paper drawer or stack bypass is different from that of the paper specified in or in the menu. - Load the paper of the size shown on the display. - If you are trying to print a report or list, set the paper size to or , then load paper of the same size. - The size of the paper in the paper drawer or stack bypass is different from that of the paper specified in or in the menu. - Change the paper size setting. - The paper ran out during the print - Load paper in the paper drawer or job. stack bypass.
