Loading Paper ˙To print on the back side of preprinted paper Load the preprinted paper face up into the stack bypass, as shown in the illustration below. Originals and Print Media When the paper is loaded into the stack bypass, the side facing down is the one printed on. The screen for selecting the paper size appears. - Make sure that the paper stack does not exceed the paper limit guide. - Some types of paper may not feed properly into the stack bypass. For high quality copies, be sure to use the paper and transparencies recommended by Canon. - When making copies of a small document or thick paper, etc., the copy speed may be slightly slower than usual. - If there are instructions on the paper package about which side of the paper to load, follow those instructions. - If problems, such as poor print quality or paper jams occur, try turning the paper stack over and reload it. ˙If you are loading envelopes into the stack bypass: Gently load the stack of envelopes with the address side facing down and the flap side to the left. Be sure to insert the envelopes as far as they will go.
