View undo sysname System view Default level 2: System level Parameters sysname: Name of the device, which is a string of 1 to 30 characters. Description Use sysname to set the device name. Use undo sysname to restore the default. The default device name is HP. A device name identifies a device in a network and works as the user view prompt at the CLI. For example, if the device name is Sysname, the user view prompt is . Description Use system-failure to configure the exception handling method for the master switch in the IRF fabric. By default, the master switch in the IRF fabric adopt the reboot method to handle exceptions. The exception handling method is effective to only the failed member switch, and does not influence the operations of other IRF member switches. 162
